Trading in his BB gun for a bass guitar is what would lead New Jersey native, Chris Tristram to become a lifelong bassist. During his high school years, he was offered to play with the Stray Dogs who were signed to Multi Median, New Jersey.  Chris was then picked up by Regina Richard’s and The Red Hot who were signed to A & M Records, performing shows with Billy Idol, Squeeze, Stray Cats and  Robert Gordon.  During this same time, Chris was procuring his place as a live and studio recording engineer in New Jersey. Chris’s high energy Bass playing and backing vocals were the backbone for Amazing Grace who were signed to Cellar Door Management and toured with Slaughter, Winger, Tesla, Trixter, Lillian Axe and also headlining their own shows. Chris has performed live with Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple, Rainbow) Leslie West of Mountain, Steve Loungo (John Entwistles solo band) Paul Morris (Rainbow) and Slash (Guns and Roses).

 A move to California found Chris and his band­ mate penning a deal with Capitol Records and having a worldwide release with Parlour/Marjorie Fair.  

Chris is the Prog rock bassist for the band  “Perfect Beings” which has just released their second studio album "Perfect Beings ll" . Chris has joined a new project "Munroe's Thunder" fronted by heavy metal singer Ronny Munroe formerly of "Metal Church" and "Trans Siberian Orchestra" in February 2016.  Chris is very excited to be a part of this project.  Munroe's Thunder is working on their debut album "The Black Watch" .  The Thunder is coming.....

In October 2016 Chris had been offered an amazing opportunity to become the new bassist for melodic rock band House of Lords.  House of Lords is now releasing their 11th studio album on Frontiers Music srl 

House of Lords  "Saint of the Lost Souls" is being released on March 24, 2017 with a world tour to follow. 

Chris is best known as former bassist for classic blues rock band “Jack Russell’s Great White” Performing Large clubs and arenas touring throughout the United States. Chris'

high energy, solid performance and backing vocals is what he delivered to every show.

Chris’ studio recording credits have him aligned with Jim Keltner, Joey Waronker, Billy Preston, Nile Rogers, Bob Clearmountain, Rob Schnapf, Jon Brion, Stephen Bray, Todd Burke, Eddie Krammer, Marty Rifkin, Patrick Warren and Kim Bullard. Chris’s bass playing is heard on TV commercials, Movie soundtracks, TV sitcoms, and in over 100 various bands.

 As a Mixing/Recording studio owner and session bassist Chris is still passionate about music, loves playing live, recording and mixing!
